Czech rider Jan Hruska is out of the Olympics after it was confirmed he tested positive for a banned substance, believed to be nandrolone.
The cyclist, winner of the prologue and a stage in the Giro d'Italia in May, will miss the time trial and road race in Sydney after a second sample was found to be positive.
Hruska was tested on 13 September during the Tour of Spain, the International Cycling Union revealed.

Jaroslav Nekola, the head of the Czech Anti-Doping Committee, said the substance was nandrolone, an anabolic steroid.
